Target Service Users
Children under the age of 6 are studying in the participating kindergartens/ kindergarten-cum-child care centres, and are;
• Accessed by Child Assessment Centres (CAC) to have borderline developmental problems or single disability but not eligible for subvented pre-school rehabilitation services;.
• Waitlisted for assessment of CAC;
• Identified to have signs of special needs by teachers and the Project Team.
Scope of Service
To offer children with signs of special needs class observation, in-class support or short-term individual or group training as needed;
To provide teachers with professional consultations, talks and workshops to conduct initial screening and make adaption to teaching methods and curriculum to address diverse needs of children;
To fumish parents/ carers with consultations, talks, workshops, etc.
